if all goes well on saturdays and i have a little break in my sewing
schedule, i try to sew something for my kids in between orders.
last weekend i had lots of fun making a few pairs of
oliver + s shorts for the kiddos, so i thought i'd keep with tradition this month and sew another
oliver + s shorts pattern
for the girls! not quite as easy a project, but i do love how they
turned out...not without mistakes (i always tend to fumble with new
patterns on the first go round!), but they'll get lots of wear this
summer. i love sewing dresses for the girls and fancier things, but it
is really fun to make clothes for them to run and play in too!

oh, wait...the shorts needed a little coordinate, so the tops were a little bonus project at the last minute.
after church, we tested the shorts out on a run to the playground! (there's our jogging "bus"! clear the sidewalk if you see this thing coming!)
